The National Black Catholic Congress (NBCC)

The National Black Catholic Congress (NBCC) was formed in 1985 as a non-profit organization under the Maryland General Corporation law; and its sole purpose is the formation and development of useful models, which focus on the evangelization and community leadership development of African American Catholics.

The NBCC objectives are primarily accomplished through convening activities and programs on the local, diocesan and national levels under the assistance of its Board of Trustees, regional coordinators and diocesan implementation team leaders.

The NBCC reevaluates its goals on a continuous basis to ensure that it is following the mission of the organization thereby attending to the needs of the black community.
