'Faith and Politics' Lecture presented by Romero Center

(CAMDEN) – The Romero Center will present its Eighth Annual Lecture Series entitled, “Faith and Politics” hosted by Rutgers-Camden Campus:

 The lecture, which features a keynote address and panel discussion on “How does our faith inform us as we prepare for the November elections?,” includes Sr. Marge Clark, NETWORK, Washington, DC, Sr. Katherine Feely, Center for Concern, Washington, DC, Joe Fleming, Camden Churches Organized for People, and Jeff Korgen, The National Pastoral Life Center, New York. In addition, Fr. Ken Hallahan, Pastor, St. Joan of Arc Church, Camden, will serve as facilitator for the discussion.  Each year, the Romero Lecture provides an opportunity to raise awareness, promote justice, educate, and support the ministry of the Romero Center, a justice education and retreat center at St. Joseph’s Pro-Cathedral in Camden. Now in its eighth year, the event has grown to include music, film, workshops, exhibits, award presentations, prayer, as well as the keynote address and panel discussion.
