St. Michael the Archangel Regional School is seeking a joyful and inspiring full-time Middle School Social Studies teacher who supports the Catholic faith and strives for academic excellence. We are looking for a dynamic educator to join our exceptional team and school family.
Job Responsibilities:
● Model Catholic values and uphold the Catholic identity of the school.
● Create a joyful, academically challenging learning environment.
● Teach Social Studies to grades 5–8 and ELA to grade 5.
● Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-based instruction.
● Build positive and productive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
● Use effective classroom management that affirms the dignity of all students.
● Actively contribute to the school’s community and culture.
● Integrate technology into instruction where appropriate.
● Perform non-teaching duties as assigned.
● Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
Requirements and Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
● New Jersey teacher certification (Standard, CEAS, or CE), or out-of-state equivalent.
● Pastor’s letter attesting to the candidate’s active practice of the Catholic faith.
● Completion of fingerprinting clearance and VIRTUS training.
● Commitment to promoting the Catholic mission and values of the school.
Salary and Benefits:
● Annual salary range: $30,000 to $40,000.
