Most Reverend Joseph A. Galante, D.D., J.C.D., Bishop of Camden, will participate in an Ecumenical Prayer Service to mark the “Week of Prayer for Christian Unity”:
The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is recognized annually around the world from January 18-25. The theme for 2008, celebrating 100 years of observance, is “Pray without Ceasing.” Bishop Galante will join other bishops, ministers and dignitaries from various denominations including Methodist Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar, Episcopal Bishop George Councell, Lutheran Bishop E. Roy Riley, Jr., and others for an evening of united prayer.
