Bishop to speak on KYW Newsradio

Bishop Dennis Sullivan will speak to the listeners of KYW Newsradio 1060 AM through a year-long series of spots that will begin on Sept. 19.

The bishop will provide the message of the Catholic Church and his perspective, in bi-weekly, 60-second spots which will reach Catholics and non-Catholics from across the Philadelphia region.

The first set of spots, to be broadcast from Friday, September 19 and on Saturday, September 20, focus on Catholic education. In one message, Bishop Sullivan speaks about the importance of Catholic schools; in another, he talks about his favorite teacher while growing up in the Bronx.

His message will change to reflect the seasons and the Church’s liturgical year. The spots can be heard on Friday, Sept. 19 at 7:26 am, and 1:26 PM; and on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 9:26 PM, and Sunday, Sept. 21 at 10:26 AM.
