The first Sunday in February is designated World Marriage Day. World Marriage Day honors husband and wife as head of the family, the basic unit of society. It salutes the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice and joy in married life.
Information on resources for parishes to celebrate World Marriage Day is available at World Marriage Day. Locally, the Faith & Family Life Office will assist parishes to organize evenings of prayer, seminars and workshops for the continued growth of marriage and family relationships.
