PreK-4 Classroom Aide
Christ the King Regional School in Haddonfield NJ is seeking an experienced early childhood PreK-4 classroom aide who would enjoy working with our younger learners in a loving, caring, elementary Catholic school environment.
It is highly preferred that the candidate has 2-5 years experience working with young children in a school setting and has some understanding of the mission of Catholic Education.
This position is a permanent 10 month part-time job, Monday-Friday approximately 29 1/2 hours a week beginning September 3, 2025. The hourly beginning rate is set at $17.50 an hour and this part-time position carries no health insurance benefits.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists teacher in conducting daily educational and recreational programs for preschool aged children.
- Assists in preparing the classroom for activities, serving and supervising lunches and snacks, and supervising special activities and recess
- Performs other school related classroom tasks and work as requested by teacher
Note: Most employees within this classification are paid an hourly rate and work ten (10) months or less a year.
Requirement and Skills:
- Must be over 21 years of age
- 2-5 years of experience working with young children in a school or childcare setting
- Understanding and supportive of the mission of Catholic Education
- Must be willing and able to pass all criminal and child safe environment clearance requirements set by the State of New Jersey and the Diocese of Camden
