The $1.7 million project responds to the need for a Catholic cemetery in rapidly growing Gloucester County. The first phase, which is expected to be completed by August 2007, will have 25 acres and accommodate approximately 25,000 ground burial spaces. Eventually the cemetery will include a mausoleum, chapel, office space, and a maintenance building all situated on 281 acres.

All Saints Cemetery is one of 13 diocesan-operated cemeteries and the first new diocesan cemetery built since 1955. In addition to the 13 diocesan-operated cemeteries, there are 13 parish-run cemeteries in the diocese.
