In an effort to enhance its service to parishioners, parishes and the public, the Diocese of Camden has upgraded its phone system to allow callers to reach diocesan departments and employees directly through direct inward dial (DID) phone numbers.
The new phone numbers, which can be found on the diocese’s web site at www.464edee1fa.nxcli.io, went into effect April 27 as part of a phone/voice mail upgrade affecting more than 150 diocesan center employees at 631 Market Street and 15 North 7th Street in Camden.
Callers will continue to be able to reach the diocese through its main phone number (856-756-7900), which is not changing. As part of the phone system upgrade, callers who choose to use the automated attendant will now have the option of selecting from the menu in Spanish for the first time, as well as in English. The phone system upgrade at the diocesan center offices in Camden is the first step in a plan to improve interconnectivity between diocesan offices at various locations in the six county area.
