The marches today—here in Camden and around the country—are a powerful display of the aspiration of men and women, old and young alike, to live in a way worthy of their God-given dignity and to secure for themselves a better way of life.
We hope and pray that these peaceful, public displays will raise awareness of the great contribution immigrants make to this country and that it will be the catalyst that unites us as a people, awakening in us the courage to act now to secure meaningful, just immigration reform.
