“The Content of the Context”
Pope Francis made waves when he stated that:
“I have not spoken much about [issues related to abortion, gay marriage and the use of contraceptive methods], and I was reprimanded for that. But when we speak about these issues, we have to talk about them in a context.”
This talk will articulate the content of the context in which the moral demands of Christianity become valid and meaningful. To what extent can we place moral demands on non-Christians or non-practicing Christians? How can we meet people where we find them and help them to grow closer to Jesus and his Church? What is the heart of the good news which Jesus commands us to spread “to the ends of the earth?”
Presenter: Fr. Kevin Mohan
Ordained in May of 2013, Fr. Mohan is currently Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Williamstown, NJ. He has spent time in English/Spanish bilingual ministry, and is currently very active in youth ministry. A gifted preacher and engaging teacher, his priestly ministry is informed by a lifelong devotion to Our Lady, and a special concern for making disciples and helping Catholics to pray well.
“Navigating the College Experience”
Everyone’s experience of college is different. In this session, Nina Camaioni will lead a panel of speakers on the challenges of living out your Catholic faith in college and how to deal with those challenges. Each speaker will be presenting a different perspective, whether it’s a community college, Catholic University, a public university, a commuter or an on-campus student. It will be held in an open question and answer format and is geared specifically for incoming freshmen.
Presenter: Nina Camaioni
Nina works as the Catholic Campus Ministry Assistant at Rowan University. She graduated from Loyola University in Maryland in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Global Studies and a minor in Catholic Studies. She is very active in her faith and is part of a Praise & Worship group called Paved in Glory that meets once a week and plays for masses and events. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar and singing, exercising, playing volleyball, spending time with family and friends, and reading books.

Round 2 (2:00 – 3:00 p.m.)
“Spiritual Jiu-Jitsu: using the enemy’s tactics of distraction and temptation against him.”
Do you deal with distractions during Divine discourse? Are you tormented by tiresome temptations? Take a step back from the fray, consider the sources of distraction and temptation, and learn some practical strategies to navigate the slings and arrows of the spiritual life and “conquer overwhelmingly in him who loves us.”

“Having Worth in God’s Eyes”
If Sacred Scripture tells us that we’re made in the image and likeness of God, then why don’t we always feel that way? This break-out session will examine the nature of our God-given dignity and worth and how our worthiness is affected by the already conquered, yet still existing sin and death in the world.
Presenter: Fr. Rob Sinatra
Fr. Robert Sinatra has been a priest of the Diocese of Camden for almost 10 years. He completed his seminary formation at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, PA and was ordained to the priesthood in 2004. He has been assigned as a parochial vicar at Christ the King Parish in Haddonfield, NJ and St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Sicklerville, NJ, as well as the chaplain at Paul VI High School in Haddon Township, NJ from 2006-2009. In 2009 Fr. Sinatra was sent to the Pontificial Gregorian University in Rome to complete a License in Canon Law. After completing his degree in 2012, Fr. Sinatra was named Adjutant Judicial Vicar for the Tribunal of the Diocese of Camden and the chaplain for Catholic Campus Ministry at Rowan University.
