Grades 6-8 Science Teacher
Description:
Resurrection Catholic School located in Cherry Hill, NJ is actively seeking a full-time Middle School science teacher. This teacher would be responsible for creating an academically challenging environment that also fosters the social, emotional, and spiritual development of our students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to elementary school-aged students in grades 6-8 in science classes.
- Integrate Catholic faith and values into daily lessons and classroom activities
- Create and maintain a positive, supportive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and a love of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student success and contribute to the overall school community
- Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide events, such as meet and greets, open houses, and fundraisers
- Other duties as assigned
Requirement and Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree, certification in elementary education is preferred
- Experience teaching the Middle School science level is preferred
- Basic computer skills and experience with Google Classroom is a plus
Benefits:
- Full-time teachers are eligible to participate in health benefits including optical and dental or can receive payment in lieu of benefits
- 10 paid/sick days
- 3 personal/paid days
- Salary range $30,000-$40,000 per year.
