Heather Cappuccio named Assistant Director of Development

Heather M. Cappuccio, who has been Coordinator of Major Gifts for the Diocese of Camden since last January, has been named Assistant Director of Development for Major Gifts, effective August 5, 2009. She will report to James Lanahan, Director of Development.

As assistant director, she will be responsible for the management, identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of the diocese’s major donors and managing an active portfolio of prospective donors. She also will focus on the diocese’s Lifelong Formation Endowment Fund, which has been created to help fund diocesan and parish lay ministry formation efforts.

Heather joined the Diocese of Camden in 2005 as Development Coordinator for Catholic Charities working on grants, special events and public relations efforts. Prior to her employment at the diocese, she served in various development positions. She has a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida.

Heather and her husband are parishioners of Saint Joseph, Hammonton, and are expecting their first child in December.
