Even as Heather Cappuccio has continued to assist with Catholic Charities’ Justice for ALL Awards dinner, which was held last month, you may have noticed that she’s also focused her skills and attention on stewardship and development for the diocese.
Since January, Heather, who is now Coordinator of Major Gifts for the diocese, has had responsibility for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of the Diocese’s major donors. Major donors include individuals, corporations and foundations that have the resources and current or potential interest to make gifts of $25,000 or more. While currently focused primarily on generating support for The Lifelong Formation Endowment Fund, gifts can include the House of Charity/Bishop’s Annual Appeal and other major giving opportunities.
Heather joined the Diocese of Camden in 2005 as Development Coordinator for Catholic Charities working on grants, special events and public relations efforts. Prior to her employment at the diocese she served in various development positions. She has a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
