Catholic Charities to present “Justice for ALL” awards April 20 Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Camden will honor four award recipients for their work on behalf of social justice in the six southern counties of South Jersey at its annual “Justice for ALL” Awards Dinner:
The Justice for ALL 2006 awardees are: · Reginald F. Beckett, K.H.S. receiving the Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio Award for Leadership · The Franciscan Sisters of Allegeny receiving the Monsignors Mike Doyle and Robert McDermott Award for Parish and Community Ministry · Sister Helen Cole SSJ, MSW receiving the Sister Grace Nolan Award for Social Ministry ·
The South Jersey Regional Equity Organizing Project receiving the Peter J. O’Connor Award for Social Justice Most Reverend Joseph A. Galante, D.D., J.C.D, Bishop of Camden, will also offer remarks at the awards ceremony. The “Justice for ALL” awards for leadership, parish/community ministry, social ministry and social justice, were first given in 2004. More than 500 people are expected to attend this year’s event.
