7.14.06 Bishop to Ordain Men to Priesthood

Most Reverend Joseph A. Galante, D.D., J.C.D., Bishop of Camden, will ordain John C. Delaney, of Blackwood, to the priesthood:

Rev. Mr. Delaney, 25, who was ordained a transitional deacon last October, recently completed his seminary training at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. A 1998 graduate of Triton High School (Runnemede), Rev. Mr. Delaney attended Rowan University before transferring to St. Charles Seminary (Overbrook, PA) where he completed his undergraduate studies.

He will celebrate his first Mass Sunday, July 16 at St. Agnes Church, Blackwood, at 3:00 PM. Rev. Mr. Delaney is the fourth man ordained to the priesthood this year for the Diocese of Camden. In May, Bishop Joseph Galante ordained Rene Canales, of Pleasantville, Allain B. Caparas, of Maywood, and Christopher M. Markellos, of Mantua, to the priesthood.
