Bishop Dennis Sullivan invites fellow Christians to join Catholics in prayer at Noon on March 25, 2020

Earlier today, Father Joseph D. Wallace director, Ecumenical and Inter-religious Affairs, Diocese of Camden, extended the following invitation to all fellow Christians leaders:
I write to you to extend an invitation and request from Bishop Dennis J. Sullivan, Bishop of Camden, to join your brothers and sisters from the Roman Catholic Church from throughout the world at the request of Pope Francis, Bishop of Rome, to pray together in solidarity during these times that challenge the whole human race. Pope Francis said to all Christians throughout the world, “I invite all the Heads of Churches and the leaders of all the Christian Communities, together with all the Christians of the various Confessions, to invoke the Most High, Almighty God, reciting contemporaneously the prayer that Jesus our lord taught us. I invite all, therefore, to do so several times a day, but, all together, to recite the Our Father, Wednesday, March 25, at midday – all together.”
I invite you to contact your priests and ministers and to invite them to join in prayer at noon along with as many of their flock that they can reach out to, to join in the recitation of the Our Father. May our joint prayer to our Heavenly Father draw us closer to Christ and remind us of our unity in the one baptism that we share. May it ease our fears and petition our Heavenly Father to help us during this time of human need!
Bishop Sullivan sends his fraternal greetings and prayers to you and all those entrusted to your spiritual care. He is eager to join in prayer along with the entire Christian community for those suffering at this time with COVID-19, and the vast army of care givers risking their own well-being to minister to their brothers and sisters in need.
Let us be of one mind and heart as we join together tomorrow at noon reciting in unison the prayer that our Savior taught us!
