Advocating for the homeless

Staff members of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden, take a break to have their photo taken July 13 in Washington, D.C., where they joined 350 housing advocates for a reception on Capitol Hill with members of Congress. During the reception, speakers shared their experiences of homelessness and other housing struggles and asked congressional representatives to stop cuts to federal housing assistance programs. The day was organized by the statewide housing advocacy organization, Monarch Housing Associates.
