St. Mary School is seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled part time Teacher Aide to assist classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and classroom management.
- Support students individually and in small groups as directed by the teacher.
- Prepare classroom materials, bulletin boards, and learning resources.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and other assigned duties.
- Promote positive behavior and reinforce classroom expectations.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Support the Catholic mission and values of the school.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding students and families.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree or college coursework preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and parents.
- Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
