Teacher of Science and Mathematics

Gloucester Catholic High School is seeking a full-time Teacher of Science and/or Mathematics for the 2026–27 school year.
Responsibilities
The teacher assumes full responsibility for the leadership and management of assigned classes; strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education; develops and implements a daily instructional program aligned with student needs and established curriculum; maintains accurate records of attendance and academic achievement as required by the school, diocese, and state; fosters positive relationships within and beyond the school community; and pursues ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree and New Jersey teaching certification for grades 9–12 preferred
· Experience in high school advanced course instruction preferred; prior classroom experience a plus
· Commitment to supporting the school’s Catholic mission
· Background check and Virtus training required prior to or upon hiring
Compensation
Salary range is $39,000–$55,000, commensurate with education and experience, per the Gloucester Catholic Teachers’ Contract.
