All ministers, volunteers and faithful of the Diocese of Camden are invited to attend two upcoming pre-Lenten evenings of reflection and fellowship at Marmora’s Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish.

“Why We Do What We Do As Catholics,” will take place Feb. 1 and 8.  Sponsored by the parish’s Life and Justice Committee, in conjunction with the diocese’s Office of Life and Justice Ministries, both days will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Immaculata Hall.

On Feb. 1, Dr. Michael Sims, diocesan director of the Office of Life and Justice Ministries, will lead a discussion on the four pillars and faith anchors of Catholic identity: Scripture, Tradition, Reason and Experience.  On Feb. 8, Dr. Sims will speak on Bishop Robert Barron’s “Loop of Grace” from the Word on Fire ministry. Part of the discussion will be how “in the love that we share, in using the gifts God gave us, we, in turn, discover God’s love for us and humanity,” Dr. Sims said.
