Diocese of Camden Presentation and Opening Mass for XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops
Bishop Dennis Sullivan, as requested by the Holy Father, will open the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops process locally on Sunday, October 17th with a 3:00 PM Mass at Saint Agnes Church, Our Lady of Hope Parish. Prior to the Mass, delegates from each of the parishes of the diocese, chosen by their pastor, will meet for a presentation on the Synod and what the local role will be. This worldwide Synod is a wonderful opportunity for the laity to give valuable feedback to the Vatican regarding the Church.
During the Mass, the Bishop Dennis Sullivan will also present his first Bishop’s Medals to parish, school and diocesan honorees for their notable devotion to the work of the Church and the mission of our Faith.
