Social Justice presentation reyes rotator.2jpgOur Holy Father Pope Francis has said, “Among our tasks as witnesses to the love of Christ is that of giving a voice to the cry of the poor.” As disciples, we are called to

evangelize  and to work for justice in the world. How do these two pursuits go together?

Dr. Jonathan Reyes, executive director of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Department of Justice, Peace, and Human Development, will examine this question in a dynamic presentation called “Social Justice and the New Evangelization” here in the Diocese of Camden.

Dr. Reyes will lead two sessions on Tuesday, December 9: 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm for parish staffs and volunteers, and 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm for a general audience. Both sessions will be held at Church of the Holy Family’s Aquin Center (226 Hurffville Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080). Admission is free.
