The fifth annual Hispanic Catholic Charismatic Renewal conference will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at Notre Dame Regional School in Landisville.
Coinciding with the National Hispanic Heritage Month and with the theme of “Rebuilding Families,” the conference is “an opportunity for all families to have a special encounter with Jesus,” said Kathia Arango, diocesan coordinator for the Hispanic CCR.
As the Camden Diocese prepares for the upcoming World Meeting of Families next fall in Philadelphia, “We need to invite Jesus to be part of our family, to be the center. We want to have a day where we all could experience the love of God, which is capable of rebuilding our families,” she said.
A day for prayer and worship, highlights of the conference include a Eucharist Liturgy; and a keynote presentation by Father Rodolfo Londono, spiritual director for renewal in Colombia, who has given presentations in Latin America, Miami and on the West Coast.
Father Ariel Hernandez, pastor of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Newfield, will lead a holy hour, and musician Mario Alberto will engage participants in praise and worship.
A $15 donation is suggested, and includes light breakfast, and lunch.
Notre Dame Regional School is located on 601 Central Ave. in Landisville. For more information, call 856-583-5801, 856-583-6135, or e-mail rcccamden@gmail.com
