Bishop Dennis Sullivan will lead a bilingual (English/Spanish) Way of the Cross procession through the streets of East Camden beginning at Saint Joseph Pro-Cathedral (2907 Federal Street, Camden) on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 12 Noon. During the procession, parishioners will re-enact the Passion Narrative, the Gospel accounts that describe the suffering and death of Jesus. Bishop Sullivan will officiate at the beginning of the Stations of the Cross and join parishioners for part of the Way of the Cross.
Parishioners of Saint Joseph Pro-Cathedral will dedicate their annual Good Friday Procession of the Stations of the Cross to the issue of immigration reform in our country. Bishop Sullivan will speak on the moral issues of immigration as they have been enunciated by the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB) and join in the prayer of the Way of the Cross.
