Samuel Group, a nation-wide discernment initiative for men and women ages 18-39 years old, is starting within the Diocese of Camden this fall. Members will meet together once a month in order to study, pray, and discover their individual vocations, a lifetime call from God. The purpose of the program is to equip young adults with the tools they need to approach vocational discernment with peace, joy and confidence.
Sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal in Atlantic City, the Samuel Group meets every first Sunday afternoon of the month, 1:30 – 5:30 PM from October until May at Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton, N.J. Meetings include fellowship, talks, guided reflection, meditation before the Blessed Sacrament, and an opportunity for confession.
