Statements regarding Camden Catholic High School teacher

From Camden Catholic High School (issued 4/30/18 at 11:57 AM)
On Friday, April 27, Camden Catholic High School notified an untenured faculty member that his contract would not be renewed for the 2018-19 school year.  We do not comment on personnel matters, but it has come to our attention that he has chosen to muddy the reasons for his dismissal with baseless accusations against the school and administration.  Any concern about racism or racial insensitivity is taken seriously and investigated fully.
From Diocese of Camden Office of Schools (issued 4/30/18 at 5:01 PM)
The Diocese of Camden’s Office of Schools was informed by Camden Catholic High School last week of its decision related to the employment status of a teacher at the school.
In light of recent allegations, the office of schools will be reviewing the situation and the statements that have been made to the media.
The Diocese of Camden and the School’s Office take very seriously any and all allegations of racism. By their very nature as Catholic, our schools are expected to be welcoming and nurturing to all students.
