Gloucester Catholic athletes officially had home field advantage for the first time in the school’s 89-year history when the Lady Rams met Kingsway in a Tri-County Conference field hockey game on Oct. 5. Just before the game a dedication and blessing ceremony was held for the Peyton Athletic Complex at Gloucester Catholic in Sewell. The fields are named after Patrick Peyton, a 1977 GC alumnus who was the major supporter of the campaign to build the fields.
