Legal Notice Of Proposed Sale
Please be advised that St. Mary’s Catholic Home, Bishop McCarthy Residence and Our Lady’s Residence have filed an application with the Superior Court of New Jersey to seek approval of the sale of these facilities (and The Manor at St. Mary’s) to Center Management Group, LLC (a for-profit entity), or its affiliates, and the assignment of the net proceeds resulting from this sale to the Diocese of Camden Healthcare Foundation, Inc. to foster parish and home-based health care programs.
The nursing homes and the Manor will continue in operation, and their religious identity will be maintained.
This application will be heard before the Honorable Deborah Silverman Katz, A.J.S.C. at 9:00 o’clock in the forenoon, on November 30, 2015 in Courtroom 63 at the Camden County Hall of Justice, which is located at 101 South Fifth Street in Camden, New Jersey. Please note that you are not required to appear in court, or do anything in this regard, or to take any action at all. If, however, you wish to appear and be heard before the Court in this matter, you may do so yourself, or through an attorney, provided you register with Martin McKernan, no later than Wednesday, November 25, 2015 by 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
