Mass in the Park with Bishop Sullivan and iRace 4 Vocations April 21

More than 700 people of all ages, including parishioners, school students,

priests, religious, and seminarians from throughout the diocese, will gather with Bishop Dennis Sullivan to pray and race in support of vocations on Sunday, April 21, at Washington Lake Park in Sewell. Also, before the race and walk, there will be an outdoor Mass with Bishop Sullivan Mass at noon. The walk and 5 K race follow at 2 PM.

The annual event, sponsored by the Office of Vocations of the Diocese of Camden, is an initiative to encourage participants to pray and sacrifice for future vocations to the priesthood and religious life. The event is free of charge. Participants are simply asked to raise pledges of prayers for vocations.  The top three individual “faithraisers” of the race will receive a lunch with Bishop Dennis Sullivan.

The event will also include a barbeque with refreshments and family activities following the race.

Anyone interested in participating is welcome and can register on the day of the race.
