Bishop Sullivan speaks on KYW Newsradio 1060 throughout the year, with the message of the Catholic Church and his perspective, in bi-weekly, 60-second spots which reach Catholics and non-Catholics across the Philadelphia region.
In his latest radio message, Bishop Sullivan speaks about one of the great summer traditions at the Jersey Shore – Wedding of the Sea. Many South Jersey shore parishes participate in the annual event that coincides with the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Aug. 15. The largest event takes place in Atlantic City.
On Tues., Aug. 15 at noon, join Bishop Sullivan at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City for Mass and festivities that continue with a procession to the beach for a blessing of the ocean and commence with a festival at the Parish of Saint Monica’s Saint Michael Church grounds. In past years, thousands have participated in this beautiful event!
All are welcome!
