Charismatic Conference Oct. 6-8 in Wildwood

The Camden Diocese’s 29th annual Charismatic Conference, this year celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Charismatic Renewal and the 100th anniversary of the Marian visions at Fatima, will take place the weekend of Oct. 6-8 at Wildwood Convention Center.
With three days of prayer, worship, and evangelization, the conference is designed to engage Catholics of all ages, with adult, senior high youth, and junior high youth tracks.
Conference speakers for the adult track include Father Rene Canales, moderator of the Charismatic Conference and parochial vicar for Hispanics in the Diocese of Camden; Father James Blount, a priest of the Society of Our Lady of the Trinity and spiritual director and confessor; Father Yvans Jazon, a leader of the Haitian Catholic community in the diocese from Notre Dame de la Mer, Wildwood; and Kathleen McCarthy, president of In His Sign Network, with music provided by Tommy Doyle.
The band Forgotten Truth, led by Jeffrey Shields, director of youth ministry at Saint Rose of Lima Parish, Haddon Heights, will lead the Senior High Youth Track, while Kimberly Pesotski, youth director of Hammonton’s Saint Mary of Mount Carmel Parish, will lead the junior high youth track.
Conference registration is $40 (pre-registration) and $50 (at door) for the adult track; $35 (pre-registration or at door) for 14-18 year-olds in the senior high youth track; and $35 (pre-registration or at door) for 11-14 year-olds in the junior high youth track.
Boxed meals for $15 each, can be purchased for Saturday and Sunday.
