Administrative Support PT in High School Business Office

Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Newfield, NJ is seeking a highly motivated individual who reports directly to the Business Manager. Candidates best suited for this role will have experience in maintaining tuition accounts, accounts payable, and data entry.  This position is an integral part of a very dynamic team of education professionals.
·  Collect all monies from all sources make bank deposits and post the deposits accordingly in QuickBooks.
·  Enter Accounts Payable into QuickBooks. Manage Accounts Payable and make sure all company bills are paid in a timely manner
·  Inputs data into Quickbooks
·  Sets up and maintain financial files for Business Office
·  Prepare financial reports
·  Set up tuition accounts on Smart Tuition
·  Process tuition payments, and answer inquiries about payments
·  Follow up on delinquent tuition accounts
·  Assists with collecting tuition, registration and other fees
·  Provide statements and receipts
·  Communicate with parents, students and administrators regarding the status of student accounts
·  Type memos or letters to staff and parents, as requested
·  Process credit card payments
·  Perform office support duties
·  Provide assistance to other related departments as required

Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines
Ability to work in a highly confidential environment
Good organizational and communication skills
High School degree required
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products, Google Docs and Sheets
Knowledge of Smart Tuition and Quickbooks helpful
Problem resolution skills
Excellent follow-up skills with great attention to detail
Aptitude for learning new technology and software easily
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
