BISHOP CELEBRATES FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION VIGIL MASS AND WEDDING OF THE SEA CEREMONY

Notre Dame de la Mer Parish invites all to the Vigil of The Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary followed by the procession down to the beach for the annual Wedding of the Sea ceremony.

Come celebrate this feast with preludes by the members of the Parish Music Ministry beginning at 4 p.m.

Then at 4:30 p.m., Bishop Sullivan will preside at the Vigil Mass at Saint Ann Church. Immediately following the Mass, all are invited to join the procession of Mary, and her Mysteries of the Rosary, through the streets of Wildwood, over the Boardwalk and then to the ocean.  At the water’s edge all pilgrims may witness the blessing of the ocean and all its inhabitants.

And this year if you cannot attend, the event will be live streamed by Domestic Church Media.

Beach transportation will be available for those in need. Holy water bottles will be available for purchase in the church vestibule of Saint Ann Church.
