11.24.10 Bishop will host "Theology on Tap" for Young Adults on Dec. 1

Most Rev. Joseph Galante, D.D., J.C.D., Bishop of Camden, will serve as host and guest speaker for Theology on Tap on Wednesday, December 1 at 7 PM at the Landmark Americana Tap & Grill in Glassboro.

Sponsored by the diocesan Office of Young Adult and Campus Ministries, the Theology on Tap program is a discussion series for Catholic young adults, married and single, in their late teens (18-19), twenties, and thirties. Young adults are welcome to gather, free of charge, to enter more deeply into their faith, ask questions, and socialize with other young Catholics in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

In the third session of a four part series, Bishop Galante will discuss “Why bother being Catholic?” The fourth session will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the same location with guest speaker Fr. Kevin Nadolski, O.S.F.S. discussing Does God Have a Plan for Me?”

The necessity of outreach to young Catholics was identified as a major priority through feedback Bishop Galante received when he traveled throughout the diocese at more than 140 “Speak Up” sessions in 2005 and 2006.
