09.01.10 Theology on Tap comes to the Diocese of Camden

Young adults meet to explore their faith in an unlikely setting for “Theology On Tap”

RENEW International’s Theology on Tap: A Discussion Series for Young Adults in Their Late Teens (18-19), 20s and 30s

Theology on Tap is a discussion series for Catholic young adults, married and single, in their late teens (18-19), twenties, and thirties. The four evening sessions, sponsored by the diocesan Office of Young Adult and Campus Ministries, welcome young adults to gather and to enter more deeply into their faith, ask questions, and socialize with other young Catholics in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

The necessity of outreach to young Catholics was identified as a major priority through feedback Bishop Galante received when he traveled throughout the diocese at more than 140 “Speak Up” sessions in 2005 and 2006. Bishop Galante will serve as host and guest speaker for the third session on December 1, 2010.

All sessions are free of charge and will be held at 7 PM at the Landmark Americana Tap & Grill, 1 East Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, New Jersey on the following dates:

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Topic: Sex in the City of God.

Speaker: Dawn Eden, a journalist and rock music critic who, since her conversion to Catholicism, has spoken to young adult audiences around the world
